Little Patriots History Club kicks off the 2009/2010 school year in grand patriotic fashion!!
"Give ear, O my people to my law; incline your ears to the words of my mouth...I will utter dark sayings of old, which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us. We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generations to come the praises of the Lord, and His strength, and His wonderful works that he has done..." Psalm 78:1-7
The Little Patriots History Club, which began in 2002, celebrated Independence Day by participating in the annual Peachtree City 4th of July Parade. The students dressed in a variety of costumes, each representing a different time period in American History. Waving flags, tossing candy into the crowd, and singing old fashioned patriot music, the history club drew lots of cheers and attention. Many students and other history club participants carried banners which hailed quotes from the founding fathers and our founding documents. It was a day of great excitement, enthusiasm, and patriotism. more...
